Marco grew up in Naples, Italy, where he learned the art of pizza-making from his grandmother. When he moved to Canada in the 1990s, he noticed that while there were many pizzerias, few captured the true essence of Italian pizza - the perfect balance of a thin, chewy crust, fresh ingredients, and traditional recipes passed down through generations.
Starting with a small location in Toronto, Pizzaiolo quickly gained a reputation for exceptional quality and authentic flavors. Word spread, and soon we were opening locations across Ontario, and eventually throughout Canada.
Today, Pizzaiolo is proud to serve communities across Canada, but our commitment remains the same as day one: to craft each pizza with care, using the freshest ingredients and traditional methods that honor our Italian heritage while embracing our Canadian home.
